Dr. Stephen Chronister DDS

Dr Chronister grew up in the Kansas City area. He attended college at Westminster College, a prestigious private liberal arts school in central missouri, from 1976 to 1980. He graduated Magna cum Laude, was active in campus leadership and was a member of several honor societies. He then attended the UMKC dental school in Kansas City from 1980 to 1984, where he graduated with honors. He worked for a year in Kansas City getting his feet wet in private practice before starting his own practice in Topeka in July of 1985. That same year, he became a member of the American Prosthodontic Society. He attends their two-day continuing education seminar in Chicago every year. Dr Chronister additionally completes over 30 hours of continuing education every year, emphasizing his areas of special interest.

In his personal life, Dr Chronister has a lovely wife Michelle, they have raised 6 kids - all young adults now. He has served on the board of his church and now devotes much of his time to supporting local charities.  He and  his wife have started their own not-for-profit called Be Your Best Self, inc.  Their main fundraiser every year is a car show called Rev it Up! .  The show has been running since 2009 and raises $15 to $20,000 each year that they donate to  another charity in town. 

Dr Chronister likes to think he has the best staff in town. A great team is absolutely mandatory to giving our patients the care they deserve.
